I miss the beach

Have I mentioned how nice it was to shoot in cooler weather for a little while? This is my sister's cute family. Here are some cute shots we got.

I was adjusting something on my camera when Mr. Chase tapped me on the shoulder and whispered, "look, that is a good one! Get it!" Thanks for the heads up buddy! I love it!

Meet Miss P! Cute, red headed, pink skinned, blue eyed Miss P. This little one was not having the best of days and is having about 4 little teeth trying to come through. She couldn't get that hand in far enough!!

But still oh so cute!

Popcorn Popping

I think we sang popcorn popping a hundred times on this shoot!!! Other songs didn't work, but this was the magic song. We got So many smiles from this little girl; she was so good. She has grown up so much since this shoot. I love this family and it was so fun to take their pictures at the beach! (so much cooler than Arizona! It was great!)

Sweet Little Aspen

I have been in need of baby shoot for awhile to be around those new little ones. I have been really excited to do this particular little girl. The mom is one of my good friends from High School and I'm loving seeing her be a new mommy. This was the first newborn shoot that I have ever done where we had a wide awake baby the whole time! Not fussy at all, just totally alert and observemant for a week old baby. At the end of the day we did get about 10-15 min nap in.

Look at this sweet smile! We got a few of them.

One of my favorite things about the first baby in a family is watching the dad with them. He finally gets to hold his new baby and it's a mixture of love, excitement, and pride. I am loving these family photos!!!

I couldn't only pick a few, but this one is probably my favorite from the day. Congratulations Hyatt Family!

Miller Family

I love this family!  They are so much fun and their girls are so cute!  Little Brooklyn was more interested in the ducks than pictures and by a couple of the family pictures you can see Addison is more interested in playing with Brooklyn's hair!  Very happy kids make for an easy shoot!  Hope you like your sneak peek Miller's.

Komadina Family

Here is a cute little family!  This little girl was so funny; she was much more excited about being BEHIND her little camera than being in front of one.  Take a look at her gorgeous eyes and those long eyelashes.  And the cute little guy was so happy when someone was talking to him.  Enjoy K family!

(lesson learned: When all else fails to calm a toddler down, just sing a song!  It works!)
